My Services

How much do you cost?

-My services are completely FREE to my clients.

-My commission is provided by the vendors you vacation with.

-This is similar to Booking.com, etc

What if I prefer to book myself?

-I understand 100%

-You can book your own trip, move the reservation over to me and I can keep an eye out should any discounts come available

*Those discounts are then applied to your current booking

-You keep full control of your reservation. I am simply here to back you up.

What if a better deal comes out after I book?

-I check often and notify you should you like to upgrade.

Cruises

Will I need a passport?

-Not needed, though Highly Recommended, if you are in a closed-loop sailing.

A closed loop sailing means the start and ending point are the same port starting and ending in the United States.

What if I need special accommodations?

-Sure Thing! Just let me know a minimum of 5 days prior and I will make sure you have what is needed.

What should I pack for a cruise?

-Basic essentials. Casual Clothes. Formal wear (pending cruise line). Swimsuits for sure! Sunscreen. Any medications. Just ask and I can send you over my cruise packing list.

Will I get seasick?

-Some do. Some do not. Green apples may help. I use the motion sickness arm bands found in any Health & Beauty area of your local grocery store.

Is there internet onboard should I need to work while on vacation?

-Most ships have Wi-Fi for a fee.

Are there cruises with no children?

-Yes, Virgin Voyages and Silver Sea have minimum age requirements for passengers.

How does the ship handle bad weather?

-Cruise lines keep on eye on weather conditions closely. If needed, the captain may alter the itinerary for safety concerns.

-During rough seas, it has been advised to stay in stateroom for safety. (Only happened twice in my 20+ cruises)

What extra's should I budget for?

-My rule of thumb is to have $50 per person per day on hand.

-You may decide on that last minute spa treatment, drink package, or Wi-Fi necessity.

-There is always that one trinket or gift you find in port you want to bring home.

What is included in the cruise package price?

-Basic accommodations, meals, entertainment and access to ship activities such as the lounges, pools, and gym.

**Pending cruise line**

-Extras include shore excursions, drink packages, spa treatments, and specialty dining.

Hotel / Resorts

What is included when booking a hotel?

-Most only include accommodations.

Can accommodations packages be requested?

-Of course! We can put together packages that include spa services, romantic extras (chocolates on the pillow, champagne delivered after check-in), etc.

-Packages vary by location.

-Just let me know what you would like, and I will see what I can do to make it happen.

How far in advance should I book?

-For weekend get-a-ways, 2-4 days is good, if staying local.

-If the area is known as a popular destination, or a busy weekend, 2-4 months is recommended.

-Honeymoons or Anniversary retreats, the earlier the better.

Travel Insurance

Do I need Travel Insurance?

-No, though highly recommended. What plan do you have in place should weather keep you from making the boat on time? Lost baggage from air travel. That one accident on the highway making you miss your boat. Become sick while on vacation. Additional hotel night in an unfamiliar city. Etc..

What if my credit card covers as travel insurance?

-Read your credit card insurance coverage carefully. It may not cover weather related delays causing you to miss your connecting flight.
